Privacy notice

How we collect and use your personal information.

Who we are

Intercounty Homes Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 08229413, at The Long Barn, Down Farm, Cobham, Surrey KT11 3NE. We are responsible for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us about it at sales@intercountyhomes.co.uk or on 0203 954 6996.

What we collect

When you send us an enquiry or register with us, we collect the details you give us, such as your name, company, email address, phone number and the information in your message. If you buy a property or sell a development through us, we also collect the information needed to progress the sale, including identity documents we are required to check by law.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and send you information you have asked for. We do this because it is in our legitimate interests, or because you have asked us to take steps before entering into an agreement.
  • To market developments to you, sell your development or progress a purchase. We do this to perform our agreement with you.
  • To meet legal obligations, such as anti-money laundering checks.

Who we share it with

We share your information only where needed: with the developers, solicitors, mortgage brokers and sales agents involved in a sale you are part of, with our service providers, and with authorities where the law requires it. Our website and enquiry forms are provided by Wix.com, which stores the information you submit on our behalf. Some of our service providers may process information outside the UK, with appropriate safeguards in place.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up. Records relating to a sale are kept for as long as the law requires, for example five years for anti-money laundering records.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it or stop using it. To do this, contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Cookies and similar technology

Our website stores a small piece of information in your browser so that our enquiry forms can send your message. It also loads fonts from Google. We do not use advertising cookies.
